The Position


We are searching for a Sales Account Executive to address the following parts of our portfolio: SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite (BIS) and related solutions, including B2B/EDI, EAI, MFT, API Integration and Management etc., delivered on-premises, hybrid or in any cloud.

 

Location for this role ideally is in Scottsdale, Arizona, or in Atlanta, Georgia, reporting to the Americas Head of Sales, based in Atlanta, Georgia. However, other remote locations can apply for qualified individuals.

 

The Sales Executive needs to have a sound understanding of the integration software, cloud and services marketplace including business drivers, use cases for target industries as it relates to SEEBURGER's business integration offerings; B2B/EDI, MFT, BPM, SOA, API Integration and Management, iPaaS, Digital Applications, EAI including application integration, Cloud, EDI & B2B processing, data management etc. Knowledge of a specific vertical or industry is a plus.

 

The candidate must have carried a quota for at least 5 years from the enterprise infrastructure (middleware) software space with a successful record of accomplishment including contacts of existing executive decision makers and key business relationships. Having an entrepreneurial spirit and seeking to build your own territory franchise with strong support from Marketing, Pre-sales, Subject matter experts, etc. The candidate must be motivated “hunter” sales professional who will secure qualified opportunities in Greenfield accounts. Then benefiting from great support from a strong team to close business. Once established this franchise will generate income for the candidate for many years. The candidate would be expected to secure multiple meetings/calls per to generate a new set of opportunities in the Americas for SEEBURGER. Having experience working with global accounts is a plus. Travel: 30-40%, depending on overall business situation.

 

 

Your responsibilities / tasks

 

  • Working with the Americas sales management, and related Americas and global SEEBURGER stakeholders, to close direct sales and develop a strategic territory plan and taking responsibility for your clients success
  • Determining the sales approach to provide the customer with the best value solution and building a pipeline while meeting sales reasonable targets
  • Working with customers and prospects, including business and technology partners, to develop a clear value proposition and actively positioning SEEBURGER Solutions
  • Cultivate long-term, growing relationships with new and existing accounts. Work closely with business development (lead generation), presales and services professionals
  • Providing leadership and direction for a presales or services team based upon customer and market feedback and working with existing customers, to further develop their communities and provide new prospect introductions
  • Developing forums to engage different layers of the customer organization with the SEEBURGER organization

 

 

Your profile

 

  • Experience in selling on-premises business integration solutions and/or cloud solutions to corporate customers and having an overall understanding of customer demands in the business integration area. Strong prospecting and negotiating skills.
  • Good understanding of Applications (i.e. ERP, SCM, CRM, etc.) used by the target verticals
  • You must have strong motivation and initiative as a resourceful and creative sales person selling strategic or solution selling background, Good at uncovering goals/pains and putting together solid closing plans.
  • Good history of closing deals at a high level within enterprise accounts
  • Comfortable with being a long-term customer advocate. Our primary interests are to build long lasting business relationships with our customers.
  • Knowledge of the Americas integration market and its competitors, market initiatives, trends and major solution vendors
  • Willing to work in an entrepreneurial environment with a global team
