Performance Analysis and Tuning Guideline for SEEBURGER BIS Information Server
With the SEEBURGER BIS Information Server it is possible to store predefined data containers asynchronously and to save data for later analysis and search operations. The storage is performed by a publisher that optionally connects the data containers to rule engines and modifies or correlates them accordingly. Thereby physically different database systems are connected, which in turn are installed in different topologies.
Your Tasks
- Creation of tools and documentation for automated runtime analysis with corresponding tuning guide. For this purpose, various elementary configuration options are to be determined, varied and applied automatically. As a result, a tuning guide is to be created, which on the one hand lists the configuration to be preferred (on the hardware at hand) as well as the options and allows these configurations to be activated.
- In a second step, the task is to determine to what extent the previous work results can be incorporated into the standard delivery of the SEEBURGER BIS Information Server in order to enable (possibly continuously adapted) automatic tuning.
