Driving Success in Complex Global Deals

 

SEEBURGER enables organizations worldwide to digitize and automate their business processes. As our international business continues to grow—along with our Cloud and Subscription offerings and the increasing complexity of strategic customer projects—we are expanding our Global Sales Excellence team. As a Contract Manager, you will serve as the central point of contact for all contract-related matters within our global sales organization. You will support our regional sales teams in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and will guide strategic proposals, tenders (RFI/RFP), and complex customer projects from the bidding phase through contract execution. In this role, you will make a significant contribution to risk mitigation, standardization, and the scalability of our global sales and proposal management processes.

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

  • Draft, review, and negotiate customer, cloud, subscription, service, and project agreements
  • Analyze and assess contractual risks and develop pragmatic solutions in close collaboration with Sales and Management
  • Support Account Managers during contract negotiations with customers, procurement organizations, and legal departments
  • Provide contractual guidance for strategic tenders, RFIs, and RFPs
  • Further develop and harmonize global contract standards, templates, and best practices
  • Build and maintain a centralized contract and document repository
  • Advise Sales, Presales, Delivery, and Product Management on contract-related matters
  • Support the introduction of new products, services, and business models through the development and enhancement of contractual frameworks
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of proposal, contract, and governance processes

 

Your Profile:

 

  • Degree in Law (fully qualified lawyer), Business Law (LL.M.), or a comparable qualification
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in international contract management, preferably within the software, IT services, SaaS, or cloud industry
  • Proven experience negotiating complex customer, licensing, SaaS, cloud, and service agreements
  • Strong understanding of international contract structures and commercial risk management
  • Experience with contracts governed by Anglo-American/Common Law is an advantage
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented working style with a strong focus on quality
  • Ability to communicate complex matters clearly and effectively while balancing and aligning diverse stakeholder interests
