The future "Director Enterprise Architecture" will contribute to the alignment of the existing (software) development organization, SEEBURGER AG as a leading provider of native cloud-based integration solutions in a leading position professionally and organizationally in the team and in doing so contribute his/her sound, practical experience in this environment to the SEEBURGER organization. This means in particular the gradual transition of the existing integration offerings based on the "Business Integration Suite" (BIS) platform of SEEBURGER AG into a cloud-based offering as well as the establishment of the necessary DevOPs organization with the associated cultural change. As a member of the development management team, he is jointly responsible for the further development of the corporate strategy in coordination with the Executive Board.
The Core Tasks
- Development and ongoing leadership of a strategic technology and development roadmap as well as appropriate organizational structures to achieve the set goals
- Restructure and expand software development into a DevOps based organization
- Work closely with all executives across departments to successfully manage this transformation
- Provide technical (and, if necessary, disciplinary) leadership to software development employees
- Ensuring the quality of the products and services offered in daily use
Regular personal presence at the company headquarters in Bretten as well as visits to the established development centers (Sofia, Trier) are required to fulfill the duties and responsibilities. Hybrid working is possible.
The Profile
For this strategically important position we are looking for a candidate* with strong competencies in the following fields:

Technology / architecture / technical know-how
- Experience and know-how regarding modern cloud native based software architecture especially in the area of public cloud megascaler infrastructures (AWS, AZURE, GCP)
- Extensive experience with the design and development of SaaS software products
- Extensive experience in applying and organizing agile methodologies in software development
Ideally
- Experience in the environment of modern integration solutions and middleware (iPaaS, EiPaaS)
- Knowledge in the fields of B2B/EDI, MFT, API / SaaS integration and API management, IIoT integration
