”Accelerating business to improve the lives of people”. This is our purpose statement and encapsulates what we enthusiastically do every day. We integrate our customers’ IT systems to make sure that the right data is at the right place at the right time when they digitalize their processes. Companies need their systems to talk to each other to ensure that cars roll off the factory line, that everyone receives their payments on time, and that you can buy what you need from a supermarket.

Our success story began in 1986, when we helped the German automotive industry to digitalize their paper-based supply chains. Today, SEEBURGER is a leading global B2B software provider with more than 1,000 #businessaccelerators in 15 countries worldwide and over 10,000 satisfied customers that rely on our innovative solutions.

In cooperation with the DHBW in Karlsruhe

Start on 01.10.2025 - Preliminary internship from 01. September!

In the course of studies in computer science, two fields of study offered by the DHBW are basically conceivable for us. One is information technology with a focus on network and software technology, leading to a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree. More suitable for us is the study of computer science, where you can choose between the focus on e-business and software engineering. The degree here is then the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).

In contrast to the business informatics students, the computer scientists are much more technical. The business administration part only takes up a small part. Here, it is less about configuring and implementing the software and mapping the processes, but rather about learning skills and experience withprogramming languages and everything that goes with it. Since the software solutions we offer are very complex, the computer science students spend five of their six practical phases in the various development departments.

Later areas of employment for our computer scientists can be in software development, but also in consulting, preferably in a very technical environment.

Requirements for this Apprenticeship:

  • Good high school diploma. In case of advanced technical college entrance qualification with existing Delta-Test (aptitude test from DHBW Karlsruhe, can also be submitted later)
  • Great interest in software development / programming
  • Basic knowledge in programming is advantageous
  • Commitment and ability to work in a team

The curricula covering all theoretical contents of the degree programs are available on the DHBW website. (https://www.karlsruhe.dhbw.de).
