We are looking for an experienced Global Order Manager (all genders) to take responsibility for managing and optimising global order management processes in an international role.
Your tasks
- Processing of international customer orders across several regions, order creation and processing in the in-house ERP system through to invoicing (order-to-invoice process)
- Delivery of electronic delivery notes, order confirmations and standard software
- Order controlling and ensuring project invoicing (milestones, project lump sums and monthly recurring invoices)
- Processing incoming invoices for onward invoicing to customers (order-related travel expenses, purchased services)
- Preparation of preliminary invoices and invoices on account
- Processing of invoices and credit notes incl. complaints processing
- Processing of contract cancellations (confirmation, processing)
- Analysing and continuously improving existing processes to increase efficiency and quality.
- Ensuring smooth communication and cooperation with international sales and consulting teams
- Close cooperation with interface areas, in particular controlling and accounting
- Customs clearance and the associated reporting system
Your profile
- Several years of professional experience in order management, supply chain or a comparable position
- Experience in managing global teams or processes and initial management experience an advantage
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Communication and negotiation skills, also in an international environment
- High customer orientation and assertiveness
- Strong understanding of business processes
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- Sound knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel
- Intercultural competence and ability to work in a team
