Your Tasks
- Preparation, analysis, commentary, and further development of cost center reports as well as product contribution margin and divisional profit-and-loss statements for our German entity
- Operational sales and cost controlling
- Responsibility for the annual budgeting process and forecasting rounds for our German entity
- Participation in the preparation of monthly reports for Executive Management, the Management Board, and the Supervisory Board
- Support of cost center and product managers in the analysis of actual results
- Advising business units (primarily Sales and Consulting) on ad-hoc requests and cross-functional processes
- Support in the administration and further development of controlling systems
- Support in the administration of order management
- Participation in projects within Controlling and Order Management
- Conducting sample audits as part of internal audit activities
- Calculation of performance-based commissions (primarily for the Sales department)
- Ad-hoc analyses and statistical evaluations
Your Profile
- Degree in Business Administration or Economics with a focus on Controlling/Accounting, or a comparable commercial qualification, along with at least 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong hands-on experience in analyzing, preparing, and transforming underlying data, as well as in creating meaningful and insightful reports
- Experience in project and investment calculations, hourly rate and cost accounting, and close collaboration with or work within Accounting
- Sound knowledge of statistical methods, a strong understanding of KPIs, and solid accounting expertise
- High numerical affinity, very precise and structured working style, strong analytical skills, and an independent, results-oriented approach
- Team spirit, commitment, and a high sense of responsibility
- Excellent Excel skills as well as good user knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of database systems (e.g. Access, SQL, OLAP) and experience with accounting and ERP systems (e.g. Navision, Great Plains, SBS, SAP, Sage)
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
